What is quilling? Quilling is the art of turning thin strips of paper into beautiful designs! The art of quilling can be found as early as the 1400s. Early America New Englanders quilled, and quilling is enjoying a resurgence today. Framed and 3D pieces show the genius of creating art with paper.
How did I get started? I love creating new objects, some decorative, some practical, and some for the love of creating art! I came across some quilled pieces, searched around for supplies, and voila!! A quiller was born!!
I love that even though I start in one direction, I wind up doing something new and unusual. So I hope you enjoy my creations!
